Sounds like early CJ! Remember Firehouse doesn't even have the big production like they did in the early 90s concerts. Amazing Job Nate! All he has to do is learn keyboards/piano and sing, which is very difficult!

OK just to followup on my comments I just posted .the second I pressed play to resume the video at 1.58 and had to stop it again on the 2.32 mark after hearing the solo was in fact EXACTLY the same as Rhoads solo 100% no doubt about it and there's also no doubt that his soloing has improved 1000% from his Poison days .it's obvious he has really stepped up his level of playin expediently .damn it brought back memories of Randy's undeniable greatness . CC blew me away and is indeed a top level player and should be praised for his continued aspirations to be a better player .90% of players from the 80s era are nowhere near as good now (30 plus years later) as they were in the past but in this case it's the opposite as he has improved drastically .got to give it up to him he's a awesome player and has remained very committed to his craft.

I stopped the video at the 1.59 second mark after noticing CC's solo to that point was almost identical to Randy Rhoads Spotlight solo from his Ozzy days .there's no denying his inspiration for the solo came from practically every spotlight solos Randy did .just go online google any live proformance of Rhoads and you will recognize it immediately .which there's nothing wrong with it at least in my eyes cause Randy has always been my favorite guitarist from almost the first time I heard his playing on the radio in 1981.than went to see Ozxy live in Tampa Florida at the Curtis Hixon Hall on Sep 12th (I believe give or take a day or two) 1981 on the Blizzard tour along with a very young Def Leppard opening up for Ozzy .was always attracted to gutair oriented hard rock and metal music .Eddie Van Halen was my first favorite guitarist like millions of others after hearing him on their 1978 debut album and seeing Ed live 3 times but when heard Randy I was hooked .as for CC always liked his playing with Poison but never considered him as a top level player in comparison to Rhoads .Van Halen .Vivian Campbell .Via .Lynch . DMartini .but I do not remember his solos from back in the day being anywhere near as good as the here in this video .not sure he would admit his inspiration from Rhoads for this particular proformance .but would think he would seeing as so many of guitarist from the late 80s were big fans and drew inspiration from Randy .

Wow - who in the world set that guitar up? (Jeff's guitar that Joe Perry played). It is set up so close so nice that guy should get some serious credit. Joe played it with feeling so beautiful man. The Holy Smokes Set Up on Guitar. What a total bunch of pros, just the way Jeff would've wanted it.
